Major Arcana card meanings
These Major Arcana meanings explain each card upright and reversed in all three positions used by this reading: what is present, what asks attention, and what to carry forward.
This page shows exactly how our reading engine reads each Major Arcana card — the same wording it hands a visitor, in each of the three positions of the spread — assembled on your device from a fixed, edited library rather than improvised by a model mid-reading. A tarot reading does not predict events; it is a prompt for reflection, and a reversed reading is a change of emphasis, not a bad omen.
How the three positions work
Every reading here is a spread of three cards. Each card lands in one of three fixed positions, and each position asks its own question of whatever card arrives. The wording below is the wording the reading engine itself hands a visitor.
What is present
What becomes clearer when you acknowledge this without trying to fix it first?
What asks attention
Where might this pattern be consuming more choice than it deserves?
What to carry forward
What is one small, reversible action that would honor this message?
The same card therefore reads differently in each place. A card that is present now may ask for attention later in the same spread, or may be the one to carry forward. Reversed cards keep their theme and change its emphasis: they ask what the upright card asks, from the other side.

The table lists the engine's own wording for every Major Arcana card. The list beneath it links to the longer notes for each card. Nothing here is generated at request time.
